OreVeins V0.3 ALPHA - A Mod for MineCraft

DESCRIPTION
----------------------------------

This mod alters how ore (Coal/Iron/Gold/Diamond) and Clay is spawned. It also fixes the bedrock error. (Fixing voids)

Small pockets of Coal and Iron is less frequent while still being enough to keep you going.
This means rather than stripmining an area with corridors 2 tiles apart to find more than you can handle you now
can find the occational Coal and Iron to get you started and keep you going.
In place of the missing small (MineCraft standard style) pockets you now have medium, large and huge veins scattered
across the map, they are hard to find (2 - 3 per chunk down to one every 5 chunks or so) but once you do find them
you will have enough resources to last a few ingame days.

If you are lucky and find the HUGE Coal/Iron deposits you might even have enough for a lifetime considering the size of said
veins. But like stated, you will have to look really hard or get really lucky to strike them. (Or use a sad map hack...)

Gold remains roughly the same with the exception of rare larger clumps scattered across the map.

Diamonds are untouched, meaning you will find just as many Diamonds as you normally would and in the same locations too!
BUT! on average every 200th chunk (0.5% chance) you will find a clump of diamonds roughly the same size as a large
coal block in the standard version of the game. It's not enough to make you king of the world but it will make you feel good.

With that said... Diamonds spawn ~16 units off the bedrock (as normal) and a chunk is 16x16 blocks wide/long.

16x16x16x200 = 819,200 blocks!

If you cut up (roughly, caves exist) that many blocks you will run into one of those diamond stashes and still, it wont
be worth the effort... Think of it more as winning the lottery... Like winning $5,000.

As for clay, i couldn't figure out the clay spawning class but i am pretty sure it's broken.
I left it as it is and just bruteforced 1% of all sand made (doesn't matter where it's made) into clay blocks.
Which basically means you only have to go to the beach and dig in the sand and you will find the occational clay block.
1 for every 100 blocks you dig out which should keep you in enough supply to build a small brick house.

DIFFERENT VERSIONS
----------------------------------

There are many versions... *

Standard - Gives you slightly more resources than the standard game. (But they are harder to find)
Less - Gives you LESS resources than the standard game. (They are even harder to find due to their smaller vein size)
ClayOnly - This doesn't include ANY of the ore vein changes, it just includes the 1% clay option and the bedrock fix.

* - There are also subfolders in the Standard and Less folders, each holding variations. They should be self explanatory!

All versions however should still provide enough resources landside to get you started.

HOW TO INSTALL
----------------------------------

1) Go to your %appdata% folder. (Start -> Run -> "%appdata%" without the quotes)
2) Go into the ".minecraft\bin" folder.
3) Open "minecraft.jar" with a packing program like WinRAR. (Make a copy of the original BEFORE you do this, even if you already have a copy from other mods)
4) If there is a "META-INF" folder in the "minecraft.jar" archive delete it! (This should only be needed if this is your very first mod installed.)
5) Depending on which version you want, copy the appropriate "nw.class" file into the "minecraft.jar" archive.
6) Run the game, have fun!
